Day 1 – Welcome in Vipava Valley

Meeting - Instruction
It’s your arrival day and time to start your adventure. Take your time, it is totally free time for you to accommodate and get to know the host. It is also recommended to rest up for excitement ahead. Be ready before dinner to know the itinerary of the upcoming week as well as fellow travelers.
Day 2 – Vipava Valley

Wine tour in Vipava Valley
Travel the wine route of Vipava Valley, and learn all about wine,its production with some time for samples as well.
Your yamie adventures: wine and local food tasting in wine cellars.
Day 3 – Angel`s mountain

Angles mountain ridge and cooking class
Free morning for hiking, biking the nearby angel’s ridge with breathtaking views from the Alps to the sea. Or just enjoying spectacular views at tourist farms and sunbathing as much as you can. Enjoy a hands-on cooking class with the hosts using fresh ingredients from the neighbors and the farm.
You will attend a local cooking class where grandma Mici will lead a cooking class along with her daughter who will translate.
Today’s dinner will be totally local and made by you. Excited?
Day 4 – Angel`s mountain

Spend the morning in your routine, you can choose between active relaxing, such as:
Hiking, biking, climbing or even try paragliding in tandem of course.
Or just relaxing, reading the book in front of a tourist farm, and breathing fresh summer air. Maybe it is wise to relax a bit, before the true local adventure in the afternoon.
After an early lunch, we will move to a neighborhood where we will participate in mowing – a very traditional work of this period. After mowing, we have to hay harvest it all in one big pile. Due to hard work, we will have a well-deserved lunch from a basket. You will try only locally made food and wine, all prepared in an old traditional way. As it was the old folk custom, we will also take an easy nap under the trees to rest for a bit.
Day 5 – Postojna Cave, Ljubljana

Top Slovenian attractions
After a well-spent 3 local living days, it is a time to move to the best Slovenian tourist attraction you definitely want to see.
Our first GEKO moment will be in the darkness of Postojna Cave, the world’s top attraction.
In the afternoon we will visit Ljubljana and you will have free time to visit the top 5 attractions of Ljubljana. Ljubljana Castle, Dragon bridge, Prešeren Square, Ljubljana bank with numerous bars and Cathedral.
You can taste the warm feeling of evening life in Ljubljana.
Day 6 – Lipica&Piran

Slovenian Karst and Piran
It is your final day, so we will move south and visit a famous white horse stud farm in Lipica. Horses from Lipica were trained to serve on Vienna Habsburg castle as Kaiser’s horses. Moving to Koper, where we will take a fish boat and while traveling to Piran, another top attraction of Slovenia having a fish picking on the board awaits us. The evening will be reserved for tase elite organic/biodynamic wines from Vipava Valley, a superb conclusion of the local taste adventures.
